Cancelled
The current situation in Eastern Europe compels the cancellation of the Study Tour of St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Prague.

We are currently developing a tour that will start in Krakow, proceed to Wroclaw (formerly Breslau), and then to Berlin via Dresden.

We appreciate your patience. If you have any questions, please contact Melissa Cohen at mcohen@yivo.org.

"How will our children know who they are, if they don't know where they came from?"
— JOHN STEINBECK

YIVO is proud to announce a study tour to St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Prague. Led by Professor Samuel Kassow, this tour will explore the history of Russian and Soviet Jewry, as well as visit some of the major attractions of these two Russian capitals: the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Hermitage Museum, the Kremlin – and many more. The tour will conclude in Prague, one of Europe’s most beautiful cities and home to one of the oldest Jewish communities in Europe. Our visit to Prague will include a walking tour of the old Jewish quarter, a visit to the Old Town, and a day trip to the nearby Theresienstadt concentration camp.

The tour will be chaired by Irene Pletka, vice-chair of the YIVO Board of Directors.
