2025 Study Tour of Imperial Cities in Central Europe

Budapest — Vienna — Berlin
Many of you may have visited these cities before. Even taken Jewish tours to these places. However, this tour will allow you to view these places through a uniquely Jewish lens. Dr. Samuel Kassow will guide you through beautiful synagogues, unrivaled museums, and landmarks of Jewish religious life and secular genius. You will have the chance to explore the rich history of Hungary, Austria, and Germany. You will also confront the history of the Holocaust with visits to major memorials such as the Shoe Memorial in Budapest, the Simon Wiesenthal Institute in Vienna, and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin.
The tour will be chaired by Irene Pletka, vice-chair of the YIVO Board of Directors.
