YIVO is inaugurating its first literary tour
of Jewish Galicia.

Experience the landscapes, environment, and culture that influenced such writers as Shai Agnon, I.L. Peretz, Isaac Babel, and Bruno Schulz. Readings will illustrate the impact these experiences had on their work. Noted historian Dr. Samuel Kassow and Dr. Eddy Portnoy, Senior Researcher and Director of Exhibitions at YIVO, will guide you on a unique journey of literary and cultural discovery.

The tour will be chaired by Irene Pletka, Vice-Chair of the YIVO Board of Directors.
