2025 Study Tour of Northern Italy

Few of us are familiar with the history of Italian Jews. Even less of the Ashkenazi influence in northern Italy. But that is YIVO‘s wheelhouse, so come with us while we explore the fascinating, troubled, and glorious history of Italian Jews in the northern tier. Dr. Elissa Bemporad, with noted historian Dr. Samuel Kassow, will lead us on on an extraordinary tour.
The tour will be chaired by Irene Pletka, vice-chair of the YIVO Board of Directors.
