Discussing Michael Gordon's "Travel Guide to Nicaragua"

Composer Michael Gordon discusses the forthcoming Carnegie Hall premiere of his work Travel Guide to Nicaragua with composer and YIVO Director of Public Programs Alex Weiser. An evening-length work, co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall, Travel Guide to Nicaragua tells the story of Gordon’s family’s journey from Poland to Nicaragua, beginning with his grandfather and concluding with Gordon’s childhood in the jungle on the outskirts of Managua.
