YIVO Mourns the Passing of Hinda Jacobs

YIVO mourns the passing of Hinda Jacobs on December 28, 2015. Born in Vilna, Hinda first became affiliated with YIVO in the mid-1930s. She was a volunteer in the YIVO Archives for over 10 years at its 15 West 16th Street, NY location, where she wrote at least 50 finding aids.

The funeral will take place on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 9:30am at the Plaza Jewish Community Chapel, 630 Amsterdam Avenue, NY, NY. Shiva information to follow.
